Haffnera Residence is Cordia’s third project in the Tri-City and the second Sopot premium development in its portfolio. The main asset of Haffnera Residence is its excellent location: on the second coastline, just a five-minute walk from the Sopot beach, surrounded by lush greenery. Construction of the two four-storey apartment buildings designed by renowned local studio KWADRAT, is scheduled to begin in Q1 2024.
After the launch of Leśna Sonata in Sopot and Villa Jaskowa Dolina in Gdańsk’s Wrzeszcz, Cordia is moving forward with another development in the Tri-City. On Haffnera Street, one of the most prestigious streets in Sopot, near the border of the Northern Park, two elegant, comfortable apartment buildings will be constructed. There will be a total of 133 mixed-use units with areas ranging from 28 to 190 sqm. Future owners will be just a five-minute walk from the nearest beach, accessible through the recently revitalised Northern Park, and within easy reach of beach saunas (700 m), tennis courts (600 m), as well as the Bohaterów Monte Cassino promenade and the famous pier in Sopot (1.5 km). Haffnera Residence owes its name to Jerzy Haffner, one of the founding fathers of Sopot, a physician who established a bathing resort and built a healthcare house here in the 19th century.
“The cities along the coast are becoming an increasingly popular investment location. For several years now, we have seen growing demand for units close to the sea, which guarantee a high rate of return. Haffnera Residence is a unique project combining these features – the only premium development in Sopot, located on a plot so close to the sea,” – says Tomasz Łapiński, Managing Director of Residential Developments at Cordia Polska. “It was designed for those seeking capital protection through property in a prestigious coastal locatio. The project’s remote work-friendly environment and convenient connections to major cities make it an ideal permanent residence. All of this, combined with the unique design of a local architectural studio, turns Haffnera Residence into an extremely attractive proposition for both investors and those looking for an apartment for their own needs,” he adds.
Comfort two steps from the beach
The Haffnera Residence is located within the protection zone of Sopot’s historic landscape complex and Sopot Health Resort. The buildings have been skilfully integrated into the surrounding greenery, using glass balconies and loggia balustrades and panoramic windows. The apartments on the top floors, distinguished by their above-standard height of as much as 2.98 meters, also have their exits to private roof terraces. First-floor units, meanwhile, have access to spacious gardens.
Premium quality also in interiors
Haffnera Residence is also distinguished by its carefully planned common areas. The walls are covered with elegant linings, and the corridors leading to the apartments feature soft carpeting. Mirrors and decorative wall sconces have been provided. The front door with a tall, decorative portal also draws attention.
Quiet elevators, spacious bike rooms, monitoring, security and video intercoms are also included in the project for the convenience of customers. Some units have been prepared for the installation of air conditioning, and all parking spaces in the underground garage offer charging for electric cars.
Luxury immersed in greenery
The Haffnera Residence project will feature green roofs with extensive greenery that promote rainwater retention, purify the air and lower the ambient temperature. There is also a lot of low and high greenery on the site, including a valuable old-growth grove consisting of maples, ash trees, oaks and willows. Once the construction is completed, more trees, shrubs, perennials, vines and grasses will appear. In addition, 80 of the 100 lime trees that Cordia planted in Sopot in 2022 as part of the city’s greening campaign are growing on Haffner Street alone.
In the area around the Haffnera Residence there are numerous hotels, restaurants, sports fields, tennis courts, an aquapark, and even an open-air ethnographic museum – unique in Europe.
